Foundation 2 (Reception)
Children in Elm and Oak Class e have been looking at plants and how they grow. They can identify and name the roots, shoots, stem and leaves and they know what a plant needs to thrive.
We have also been finding out about the kinds of animals we are likely to see on our trip to Farming World. We have been reading stories about animals as well as non-fiction texts that have allowed us to find out what animals eat and how they change as they grow.
When we get back from the farm we will be painting pictures of the animals and putting them in a very special web-gallery for our families to see.
